CALL spsTREND 2026 Survey School

We are pleased to announce that the call for the spsTREND 2026 Survey School – 1st Edition: Multilevel Models for Comparative Survey Data is open!

The school will take place at the University of Milan on 24–26 November 2026. 

This 3‑day intensive school combines lectures, R labs and paper presentations, and is designed for PhD and Master students, post‑docs and early‑career researchers working with (or planning to work with) multilevel models. 

We will host Professor Malcolm Fairbrother (Uppsala University & Institute for Futures Studies) as the keynote instructor of the survey school. 

The school includes an introductory session on spsTREND survey resources, keynote lectures with hands‑on R labs focused on comparative survey data, cross‑national variation and longitudinal modelling, and participants’ paper presentations with structured feedback from spsTREND discussants. 

Deadline to submit full paper: 10 November 2026  

Participation is free of charge.
