Abstract
In the context of sectarianism in Lebanon, violent events have led to the break-up of the social fabric and its principles, including the value of life. In these events, domination, discrimination and negligence were exerted toward the others under one pretext of seeking own- protection (from individual, social groups and community perspectives). In this midst, women with disabilities as well as relevant social organizations and activists are demanding for an inclusive State. Due to this, it is considered enormously important to analyze, the standards and strategies that could ensure the rights to Quality of Life of women with physical disabilities, (who are coming from the 3 existing cohorts: Lebanese, Syrian and Palestinian refugee women). At a first level, the research will identify the scenarios used by these women and activists, who are leading or affiliated to relevant social organizations, to increase the social participation and interaction of women with physical disability in order to improve their well-being. At a second level, the research will highlight the strategies adopted by them to push the public opinion towards right-based perspective and inclusiveness. this implies to analyze to what extent these scenarios resulted in overcoming political and social barriers that are keeping them away from enjoying their rights and from participating actively in the social and political spheres.
