Progetto di Ricerca:Il progetto si concentra sulle micro- e macro-dinamiche del grado congiunto di monopolio e monopsonio delle imprese. Interpretando il potere nei mercati del prodotto e del lavoro come due dimensioni di un medesimo processo organizzativo, produttivo e distributivo, il lavoro combina strumenti microeconometrici, metodi computazionali e tecniche di analisi distribuzionale per studiarne origine, evoluzione e implicazioni. In particolare, analizza le interazioni tra potere monopolistico e monopsonistico, le configurazioni cross-market che ne favoriscono la combinazione, i processi generativi ed evolutivi alla base delle rispettive distribuzioni tra imprese, le implicazioni macro-distributive e l’eventuale esistenza di relazioni causali tra le due dimensioni del potere di mercato.

Research Project: The project focuses on the micro- and macro-dynamics of firms’ joint monopoly and monopsony power. By interpreting power in product and labour markets as two dimensions of the same organisational, productive, and distributive process, the research combines microeconometric tools, computational methods, and distributional analysis techniques to investigate its emergence, evolution, and implications. In particular, it examines the interactions between monopoly and monopsony power, the cross-market configurations that foster their joint emergence, the generative and evolutionary processes underlying their distributions across firms, their macro-distributive implications, and the potential existence of causal relationships between the two dimensions of market power.
