Abstract
Events such as COVID-19, the Ukraine war, unnatural floods, the energy crisis, etc. have taken the world by storm, forcing almost all the major economies into recession and crisis. Such disruptions have led to developmental and economical concerns across the globe that could affect the lives of people in the long run. An event of such magnitude calls for an in-depth analysis of the disruptive events in developed and developing economies. For this purpose, techniques such as Input-Output methodologies and their extensions are employed to study the perturbations caused by these events in multisector economies. Therefore, the idea is proposed to extend the research towards resilience, environmental & energy efficiency analysis. Furthermore, a model to assess the effects of BREXIT on the UK’s economy and carbon footprint analysis in developing and developed economies will also be under consideration.
