Abstract

The Ph.D. project is aimed at developing the digital correspondence of Monaldo Leopardi.Count Monaldo, the father of the famous poet Giacomo, was embedded in a very dense intellectual circuit, and this is demonstrated by his correspondences. The relevance of the author allows obtaining from his letters useful information to reconstruct the network of the intellectuals, and to highlight the circulation of the main periodicals and newspapers in the first half of the 19th century.The digitization of the texts is done according to the XML-TEI encoding.
