This doctoral research provides a comprehensive quantitative assessment of the Russian invasion's impact on the Italian economy. It delves into changes in consumption patterns, competitiveness, and policy responses, using advanced quantitative methods. The study focuses on the influence of Ukrainian exports on Italian market dynamics, the repercussions on Italy's global trade position, and the integration challenges posed by Ukrainian refugee migration. It also explores sustainable economic recovery strategies and international collaboration efforts between Italy and Ukraine. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research combines statistical tools, econometric models, and qualitative analyses, including interviews and case studies. This multifaceted investigation aims to contribute significantly to policy evaluation, particularly in areas like environmental policy, digital transformation, and inequality prevention, ultimately aiming to reinforce Italy's socio-economic resilience in a post-conflict context.
