Curriculum UT3 - Ricerca storica, gestione della conoscenza ed etica nel mutamento digitale
Progetto di Ricerca: Questo progetto indaga se esista una qualche connessione tra la letteratura giapponese, in particolare Hagakure, e lo sviluppo tecnologico dell'IA. L'obiettivo è quello di comprendere un mondo che si sta avviando verso una digitalizzazione capillare e di capire come guidarla nel nome della dignità umana. Prendo in considerazione la cultura giapponese, poiché sembra essere riuscita ad armonizzare l'antinomia tra ciò che è "sempre nuovo", rappresentato dalla tecnologia, e ciò che "rimane sempre uguale a sé stesso", rappresentato dalla sua cultura estremamente ermetica, alimentata dagli insegnamenti Shinto. Lo scopo di questo progetto è comprendere come questa ermeticità possa essere proprio l’elemento che ha favorito il progresso tecnologico, generando una contraddizione fondamentale. Si tratta quindi di comprendere gli elementi di questa cultura che rendono possibile tale relazione. Il risultato ci aiuterà anche a comprendere il vero significato dell’espressione "sviluppo sostenibile".
Research Project: This project investigates if there is any kind of connection between the Japanese literature, particularly Hagakure, and the technological development of IA. This purpose is inspired by the necessity to understand a word that’s running toward a capillary digitalization and to understand how to drive it in the name of human dignity. I consider the Japanese culture, since this culture seems to have succeeded in harmonizing this antinomy between what’s “always new” represented by technology and what “remains always the same to itself” represented by its extremely hermetic culture fostered by Shinto teachings. The scope of this project is to understand how this hermetic culture can possibly be the exact reason that fostered technological advancement, generating a fundamental contradiction. So, it’s about understanding the elements of this culture that make this relationship possible. The result will also give us a major comprehension of what “sustainable development” really means.
