Progetto di Ricerca: L'obiettivo principale del progetto è elaborare e implementare un modello di formazione innovativo per i docenti di materie umanistiche (I ciclo). Questo modello è destinato specificamente alle aree socialmente ed economicamente depresse della Sicilia, in particolare la provincia di Ragusa. Le finalità sono: Potenziare le competenze dei docenti in ambito disciplinare, metodologico-didattico e digitale. Eliminare il divario esistente tra i contenuti delle discipline e le metodologie didattiche. Favorire i processi di apprendimento degli studenti e l'apprendere ad apprendere, con un focus sull'uso degli strumenti digitali. L'iniziativa mira a contrastare la dispersione scolastica e la povertà educativa.

Research Project: The main objective of the project is to develop and implement an innovative training model for teachers of humanities subjects . This model is specifically designed for the socially and economically disadvantaged areas of Sicily, particularly the province of Ragusa. The goals are: To strengthen teachers' competencies in subject-matter knowledge, methodological-didactic approaches, and digital skills. To bridge the existing gap between subject content and teaching methodologies. To foster students' learning processes and the ability to learn how to learn, with a focus on the use of digital tools.The initiative aims to combat school dropout and educational poverty. The motivation behind the project lies in the urgent need to address the alarming levels of educational poverty and school dropout affecting Sicily, particularly the province of Ragusa, as evidenced by poor student academic outcomes and a high percentage of NEET young people — not in education, employment or training.
