Progetto di Ricerca:  La ricerca intende analizzare l'implementazione di sistemi massivi di riutilizzo degli imballaggi alimentari in Unione Europea, specie dopo l'approvazione dei nuovi obiettivi minimi sul riutilizzo derivanti dal regolamento europeo sugli imballaggi ed i rifiuti da imballaggi (Reg. (UE) 2025/40). Attraverso l’analisi di casi studio nazionali e di best-practices si intende comprendere quali sono le reali prospettive sul tema. Lo studio si inserisce nell’ambito della ricerca sulle transizioni dei regimi sociotecnici e sul governo delle stesse, analizzandone barriere, resistenze politiche, sociali ed economiche e le reali possibilità per la loro implementazione.

Research Project: The research examines the implementation of large-scale Reusable Food Packaging (RFP) systems across the European Union, particularly in light of the new minimum reuse targets introduced by the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (Reg. (EU) 2025/40). By analysing national case studies and best practices, the study seeks to assess the realistic prospects for RFP adoption. Framed within the literature on socio-technical regime transitions and governance, the research investigates barriers and the political, social, and economic resistances to — and opportunities for — implementing RFP systems.
