7^th edition Visiting Professor Program - academic year 2025/2026

In the framework of the University Guidelines regarding Visiting Professors, Visiting Scholars and Fellows, the University of Macerata announces a selection call for the academic year 2025/2026 to award 12 Visiting Professorships.

During their stay at UniMC, which will range from 8 to 12 consecutive weeks in the academic year 2025/2026, Visiting Professors will undertake the following activities:

• Teaching: 15 hours of teaching in courses offered by the University Departments or in programs organized by the Schools of Specialization, PhD School, Giacomo Leopardi School of Higher Studies, or Istituto Confucio (info about Departments and Schools of UniMC);
• Research: conduct research activities, with a particular focus on developing international projects, in collaboration with the host Department’s research groups, addressing topics of mutual scientific interest.

 Visiting Professors will receive grants as follows:

• € 7,000.00 - for a 12-week consecutive stay (type A);
• € 5,000.00 - for a 8-week consecutive stay (type B).

Applicants must meet the following requirements by the application deadline:

• hold a position as a full professor, associate professor, or researcher at a foreign university or higher education institution;
• not be a resident of Italy.
