Short description: In considering ways to help refugee students, the purpose of this project is to provide detailed information about unique needs of refugee students, their obstacles to success, and the interventions that are promising for overcoming the barriers that they face in order to support teachers and administrators at primary school by sharing experiences. The proposals will be set up to adopt and share best practice and to find new strategies for successful integration of refugee students. Teachers and administrators should be supported to overcome the challenges refugee students experience learning language, adopting a new culture and overcoming trauma. This project aims to provide a published comprehensive guidelines for teachers and schools with refugees using qualitative case study model. The Project necessitates multi-faceted (educational) and a multi-country approach due to schools in EU and Turkey facing the same problems regarding the refugee students. The major outcomes of the project will be: 1. Publishing a comprehensive guidelines (the results of the international case studies, good practices, proposals etc. ) for teachers and schools with refugee students; 2. Sharing experiences (materials, stories, videos); 3. E-Twinning platform and website including downloadable resources; 4. A dissemination materials and seminars in partner countries; 5. Celebrating refugee students’ at least one national festival at school; 6. Publication of the final report (E-book) on the E-Twinning platform.
