Overview
The University of Macerata promotes professors' and researchers' mobility to pursue its international vocation.
Since 2013, the University of Macerata has been attracting professors and researchers from Universities worldwide by offering a dynamic and stimulating environment (check the list of our visitor professors, updating).
A more compelling academic offering, together with multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary research in an international context, are key components of the University of Macerata's internationalization process, as outlined in the 2023-2025 Strategic Plan.
In line with the objectives and actions set forth in the Strategic Plan, the "University Guidelines on Visiting Professors, Visiting Scholars, and Fellows" have been developed. This document establishes shared methodologies to ensure consistency in recognizing the status of Visiting Professor, Visiting Scholar, and Fellow for highly qualified international scholars and experts invited to collaborate in the University's research and teaching activities
