CiRAM Book Series Call for Papers – The Changing Adriatic: Climate, Territorial Sustainability and the Governance of Coastal Systems

CiRAM invites scholars from different disciplinary backgrounds to contribute to an edited volume dedicated to the profound environmental, territorial, social, and institutional transformations affecting the Adriatic region in the context of the global climate crisis.

The volume aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue on topics including:

🔹 Climate change and environmental transformations in the Adriatic
🔹 Coastal governance and regional cooperation
🔹 Blue economy, maritime infrastructures and sustainable transition
🔹 Coastal and underwater cultural heritage
🔹 Innovation, technology and environmental risk management

We welcome contributions from legal, political, economic, historical, geographical, cultural, ecological, sociological, urban planning, technological, and engineering perspectives.

📅 Full paper submission: 30 April 2027
📅 Expected publication: Autumn 2027

Abstracts (500–800 words), five keywords, and a short biographical note should be submitted to: ciram.unimc@gmail.com

Contributions may be submitted in English or Italian.
