Change the World Model United Nations (CWMUN). Incontro informativo

L'Associazione Diplomatici, ONG, in collaborazione con l'Università di Macerata,  presenta il progetto Change the World Model United Nations (CWMUN) New York (23/24- 30/31 marzo 2025).

• 12 lezioni frontali di 2 ore ciascuna sull’organizzazione, funzionamento e simulazione degli organi ONU;  
• 32 ore di simulazione di attività diplomatica presso le Nazioni Unite a New York City (USA);  
• 30 ore di studio individuale con accesso a una piattaforma digitale dedicata per la preparazione dei contenuti sviluppati durante le lezioni.  

Dopo il periodo di formazione gli studenti che decideranno di prendere parte all'evento, partiranno per New York dove vestiranno i panni dei delegati alle Nazioni Unite e dovranno risolvere problemi specifici cooperando con altri delegati di tutto il mondo.

Le sessioni di lavoro del CWMUN si svolgono in ampi spazi dedicati (presso le sale del Marriott Marquis Hotel a Times Square) che consentono ai partecipanti di lavorare con i loro coetanei nelle diverse Commissioni. Sin dalla sua fondazione, le cerimonie inaugurali e di chiusura del Change the World MUN si sono svolte all'interno dell’UNHQ.
Al di fuori delle sessioni di lavoro, gli studenti potranno visitare la magnifica New York, icona di libertà e possibilità, fonte di inesauribile bellezza e meta turistica invidiabile.

The Diplomatic Association, an NGO, in collaboration with the University of Macerata, presents the Change the World Model United Nations (CWMUN) New York project (March 23/24-30/31, 2025).

• 12 lectures of 2 hours each on the organization, functioning, and simulation of UN bodies;
• 32 hours of diplomatic activity simulation at the United Nations in New York City (USA);
• 30 hours of individual study with access to a dedicated digital platform for the preparation of content developed during the lectures.

After the training period, students who decide to take part in the event will travel to New York, where they will take on the role of UN delegates and will have to solve specific problems by cooperating with other delegates from around the world.

The CWMUN working sessions take place in large dedicated spaces (at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Times Square), allowing participants to work with their peers in the various committees. Since its inception, the opening and closing ceremonies of Change the World MUN have been held at UNHQ.

Outside of the working sessions, students will be able to visit the magnificent city of New York, an icon of freedom and opportunity, a source of inexhaustible beauty and an enviable tourist destination.
