Abstract
The project will develop the work Panegirico di Plinio a Trajano by Vittorio Alfieri in the EMAN (Édition Manuscripts et Archives Numériques) digital environment. Printed editions and manuscripts of the opera will be digitized and then analyzed by using digital tools and methods. The aim of the work is to provide a new critical point of view for Alfieri's production in order to discover new information from his texts. This work will also pursue one of the main objectives of Digital Humanities: using technologies to describe data and produce information that will become usable knowledge by enriching the final user experience.
