Resumption of Student Career
Suspending your Student Career
You may resume your suspended student career booking a ticket with the Student Administration Office of the Department of the course of your choice, on the Infostudenti portal, by clicking on ‘Area studente: carriera universitaria' and on ‘Sospensione/interruzione', and attaching documents concerning activities carried out in connection with the course for which you are requesting suspension, along with a copy of a valid identity document belonging to you.
Interrupting your Student Career
Within the closing date for enrolment renewal you may resume your interrupted student career by submitting an application for rejoining your student career:
- Fill in the relevant form and send it to one of the following e-mail addresses: servizio.protocollo@unimc.it or to the certified e-mail address (PEC): ateneo@pec.unimc.it;
- Once your request has been processed, the Student Administration Office of the Department offering the course of your choice will charge you the amount of € 16,00 for stamp duty and, if applicable, other supplementary fees to be paid through a PagoPA notice you will find in the ‘Payments’ section (Pagamenti) of your Login Area on the studenti.unimc.it website.
If you have interrupted your student career for at least two subsequent academic years, you have to pay a rejoining fee of € 200,00for each year you failed to enrol, in addition to any fees and tax due, along with overdue fees and tax due in the last year of enrolment.
If you have interrupted your student career due to serious and long-term illness or due to military service or voluntary service, or due to maternity, in the year of birth of each child, you are exempted from paying the rejoining fee, enrolment fees and tax due in the period you interrupted your student career. Discontinuing your Student Career
If you have decided to discontinue your studies at this or another university, within the relevant closing date you may re-enrol in a course on offer at UniMC and apply for validation of credits acquired in your previous student career.
The relevant teaching bodies will validate the educational activities carried out in your previous student career, in connection to which you are applying for credit validation, also taking into account whether content of your previous university education has not become outdated. The Department will notify you of the outcome by e-mail.
How to apply:
- Apply for online enrolment in your chosen course by clicking on ‘Discontinued student’ (Studente rinunciatario)
- If you wish to apply for validation of your previous student career, fill in the ‘Certificate-replacement Statement of Previous Career’ form (autodichiarazione carriera pregressa) and attach it to the ‘Career Attachments’ section (Allegati carriera) in your Login Area while enrolling online. The Student Administration Office will process your request and upload PagoPA notices for the amounts due, in the ‘Payments’ section (Pagamenti).
- Pay enrolment fees and tax due in the current academic year
Being Excluded from Courses
If you have been excluded from courses at this or another university, within the relevant closing date you may re-enrol in a course on offer at UniMC and apply for validation of credits acquired in your previous student career.

- Apply for online enrolment in your chosen course by clicking on ‘Excluded Studente’ (Studente decaduto).
- If you wish to apply for validation of your previous student career, fill in the ‘Certificate-replacement Statement of Previous Career’ form (autodichiarazione carriera pregressa) and attach it to the ‘Career Attachments’ section (Allegati carriera) of your Login Area while enrolling online. The Student Administration Office will process your request and upload PagoPA notices for the amounts due, in the ‘Payments’ section (Pagamenti).
