Transfers From Another University (entry)
If you are a student at another University and wish to continue your studies at the University of Macerata, you need to follow the transfers for entry procedure.
When to apply: from 1st August to 30thNovember
If the closing date is on a public holiday or a day before a public holiday, it is deferred to the following working day.
As to closing dates, the date of the written approval to leave issued by the university of provenance is deemed to be the official date.
How to apply:
- Submit an application to leave to the university of provenance in line with the institution's instructions concerning procedures and closing dates.
- Once you have the written approval to leave issued by the university of provenance, enrol online in the course of your choice clicking on Transfer for Entry (Trasferimento in ingresso).
If you enrol as a full-time student, you may apply for financial support if you are entitled.
You may also apply for credit recognition without having to pay further fees: fill in the self-declaring statement of previous career (Autodichiarazione carriera pregressa) form and attach the document in the Career Attachments (Allegati carriera) section during enrolment.
The Student Administration Office of the Department will inform you about application outcome by email and send you the list of documents required for enrolment.
- Pay fees and tax due, less regional tax on access to higher education you may have paid if you are transferring from another university within the region Marche.
If you do not complete enrolment at the University of Macerata within 30th April by paying all fees and tax due, the written approval to leave shall be returned to the university of provenance.
Only with regards to the five-year degree course with entry test in Primary Teacher Training (Class-code LM-85 bis) transfers are subject to compliance with rules set out by the relevant bodies and to the availability of places, which students need to check in advance examining the specific call for applications and the teaching regulations. If you wish to transfer to a year following the first one, you must obtain a written approval from the Department of destination, which must be attached to the transfer application. Transfers To Another University (leave)
If you wish to continue your studies at another university, you need to follow the transfer procedure to leave UniMC.
If you apply to transfer to another university, you must make sure you have paid all fees and tax for all years of enrolment and you may not return to the university of Macerata to study in the same academic year.
Application to transfer to other university entails payment of leave tax of € 350,00.
When to apply:
From 1st May to 30th September
without re-enrolling for the new academic year;
From 1stOctober to 30th November
you must re-enrol for the new academic year, pay the revenue stamp and supplementary fees due.

Check with other university to find out about closing dates and procedure for transfer approval, as well as details on how to proceed with your student career, especially if you wish to apply between 1st May and 30th June.
How to apply:
- Fill in the appropriate form ('Modello per presentare la domanda di trasferimento verso altro ateneo') and send it to the email address: servizio.protocollo@unimc.it or to the certified email address (PEC): ateneo@pec.unimc.it attaching a front/back copy of a valid identity document belonging to you.
- Once your application has been processed the Student Administration Office of the Department offering the course of your choice will debt you with the leave tax of € 350,00 and revenue stamp of € 16,00 you may pay through the PagoPA notice by accessing your 'Login Area' (Area Riservata) on the studenti.unimc.it website and clicking on 'Payment' (Pagamenti); paying fees due will complete your transfer application.
Only with regards to degree course with an entry test (for example, Primary Teacher Training Class-code LM-85 bis) transfers are subject to compliance with rules set out by the relevant bodies and to the availability of places, which students need to check in advance examining the specific call for applications and the teaching regulations. In that case, in order to complete your transfer application, you also need to attach the written approval for entry issued by the relevant Department of the university of destination.
