Support for writing a Data Management Plan (DMP).

A Data Management Plan (DMP) is a document that outlines how research data are managed during and after a project. Its purpose is to identify strategies to ensure that research data are of quality, secure, preserved over time, and meet FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) principles.

The DMP is a mandatory document in research projects funded under the "Horizon 2020" and "Horizon Europe" programmes and in many national programmes, including those funded with the National Recovery and Resilience Plan funds (PNRR funds).  It must be prepared in brief as early as the proposal stage and refined during project execution (within six months after the start of the project). However, the Data Management Plan needs to be revised periodically or whenever needed.

The International research, Project design and Open Science Office offers support both in the drafting phase of the project proposal for the compilation of the Data Management section, and in the post-award phase for the preparation and updating of the Data Management Plan. To receive support, contact Gloria Moretti – gloria.moretti@unimc.it
