Certificate-Replacing Statements, Certificates and Diploma Supplement
You are entitled to obtain updated certificates concerning your student status, exams taken and your student career, as long as you have paid enrolment fees and tax due, and have complied with administrative requirements.
Certificate-Replacing Statements
When dealing with the civil service or with private providers of public services, only certificate-replacing statements may be used, in compliance with existing regulation (Decree of the President of the Republic No. 445/2000 and similar regulation). Be aware that providing untrue statements and misrepresentation is a criminal offence as laid down by the Italian Criminal Code and related special laws.
How to apply for a Certificate-Replacing Statement
You can download and print a Certificate-Replacing Statement concerning your student career (enrolment with exams, graduation with exams, fees paid per calendar year) from your Login Area on the studenti.unimc.it website by clicking on ‘Certificates’ (Certificati).
If you no longer have your username and/or password, you should visit the webpageUniMc Account Activation and Password Recovery(Attivazione account UniMC e recupero password, ITA) and follow the recovery procedure.

Certificates
In compliance with Art. 15, Paragraph 1 of Law No. 183 of 12/11/2011, certificates are valid only among private parties, therefore all certificates issued by the Student Administration Office specify that certificates may not submitted to civil service bodies or to private providers of public services.
How to apply for certificates:
- Fill in the relevant Application Form headed ‘Form to Apply for Certificate’ (Modello per presentare la domanda di rilascio certificazioni) and send it to one of the following email addresses: servizio.protocollo@unimc.it or to the certified email address (PEC): ateneo@pec.unimc.it attaching a front/rear copy of a valid identity document belonging to you.
- Once your application has been processed, the Student Administration Office of the Department offering the course of your choice will upload the notice for payment through PagoPa onto your Login Area of the studenti.unimc.it website. Such notice concerns payment of the revenue stamp of €16,00 due for submitting the application bearing the revenue stamp. Such amount is due for each certificate you apply for;
- Pay the amount due and notify the Student Administration Office through the Infostudenti portal: send a ticket by clicking on 'Student Area: University Studies' (Area studente: carriera universitaria) and select 'Program Planning' (Piano carriera); you will receive instructions on how to collect the required certificate.
As an option, you may also apply for certificates by going personally to the Student Administration Office of the Department offering the course of your choice. Presently access to the Student Administration Office is by appointment to be made through the prenotami.unimc.it website.
- Fill in the relevant form headed ‘Form to apply for certificate’ (Modello per presentare la domanda di rilascio certificazioni).
- On the day and at the time of your appointment, hand in your documents and wait for the Student Administration Office operator to issue your certificate.
You may entrust somebody else to collect the certificate, provided they submit the following documents to the Student Administration Office of your Department:
- The applicant's written authorization
- A front/rear copy of a valid identity document belonging to the applicant
- Their own valid identity document
If you obtained your degree in academic year 2004/2005, in compliance with Ministerial Decrees No. 509/1999 and No. 270/2004, you may apply for your degree certificate, bearing the list of exams you have passed and the title of your dissertation, to be issued in English.
Diploma Supplement
The Diploma Supplement, which is available both in English and in Italian, may be downloaded from the Log-In Area (Area Riservata) of the studenti.unimc.itwebsite by clicking on ‘Certificates’ (Certificati).
