With the aim of coping together with this difficult period we are all going through, Unimc promotes and supports the psychological and emotional wellbeing of students by offering a comprehensive support service.

The University of Macerata promotes the psychological and emotional well-being of its students through a network of free-of-charge specific services. You can share your thoughts, your worries and your fears within a neutral and professional context, this might help you in clarifying your ideas and facing challenges and changes.

LISTENING DESK

You can call us and freely share your thoughts... It's the first step! You can talk to us about your emotional state during this delicate phase in everyone's lives caused by Covid-19 outbreak. We'll also help you in exploring the various services' network available for your well-being.

ORIENTATION

You may discuss your academic and professional carrier: 1) before choosing your studies; 2) during your academic years; 3) when you're about to finish your studies and you're searching for job opportunities.

LIFE COACH

The Life Coach might help you in finding the right motivation for facing challenges during your academic years, solving doubts, getting to know your skills and training yourself for better reaching your goals. (on updating)

PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELLING

The Psychological Counseling Service is a free support service for students, aimed at improving personal well-being and self-awareness.

  • The service offers up to six individual counseling sessions with a qualified psychologist, also in english language, in a safe and confidential setting.
  • Counseling helps you explore personal challenges, identify goals, and strengthen your inner resources. Sessions are short-term, empathetic, and focused on practical solutions.
  • Meetings can be held in person or online.

Who can access the service?
Students and PhD candidates of the University of Macerata.
