The UniMC’s “Triennal Research Evaluation” System (VTR)
Annually, UniMC conducts an internal transparent evaluation of scientific research, which is also aimed at allocating the UniMC’s Research Fund to the departments. Other research resources are also allocated individually to UniMC’s scholars on a competitive basis.
The evaluation is based on meritocratic criteria related to the results achieved during the previous three-year period (hence the name Triennial Research Evaluation - VTR).
The evaluation criteria are established by the Academic Bodies once they receive a proposal by the University Scientific Committee (C.A.T.). The C.A.T. makes its proposal on the basis of specific criteria identified by the Area Research Committees (C.A.R.).
