Career Week 2026
The University of Macerata’s Career Week returns from 6 to 8 May 2026 with a programme designed to support students and graduates as they make the transition from university to the world of work. It is an opportunity to explore career options, acquire practical skills and meet companies face-to-face.
The 2026 edition will take place in person on 6, 7 and 8 May, comprising three days dedicated to career guidance, training and recruitment.
Career Week will open on 6 May with a round-table discussion entitled ‘The changing world of work, young people making choices: challenges and opportunities for the region’, followed by workshops and seminars organised by institutional bodies and qualified partners, focusing on career guidance, skills development and opportunities at national and European level.
The day on 7 May will, meanwhile, focus on practical and workshop-based activities, with sessions dedicated to developing tools for entering the world of work (CVs, LinkedIn, soft skills, artificial intelligence), in-depth discussions on contractual arrangements, and networking initiatives with local businesses and stakeholders.
The initiative will conclude on 8 May with Career Day, to be held at the Department of Economics and Law (Piazza Strambi 1 – Macerata): throughout the day, students, graduates and PhD students will have the opportunity to meet HR representatives from the region’s leading companies, attend one-to-one interviews and find out about internship and employment opportunities.
Participation in Career Week 2026 is free of charge, subject to registration, and credits (CFU) will be awarded in accordance with the specified procedures. View the full programme and find out how to take part.
