IRIS RM (Research Management) Third Mission
As part of the University’s strategies to strengthen the Third Mission and foster dialogue between the university and society, and in accordance with the guidelines of the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System (ANVUR), the University of Macerata has launched the IRIS RM Third Mission module, which is integrated into the IRIS platform already in use for managing scientific output.
What is IRIS RM?
IRIS (Institutional Research Information System) is a system developed by CINECA for the collection, management, and dissemination of data related to research activities carried out by universities and public and private research institutions.
The Third Mission RM (Resource Management) module, integrated into the university’s IRIS catalog, enables the cataloging and management of all initiatives related to: Public Engagement, Continuing Education, Spin-offs, and Intellectual Property.
The introduction of this tool addresses the need to systematize Third Mission activities, with a particular focus on periodic monitoring and strategic planning processes. Compiling and updating the RM module requires the active participation of university faculty members and researchers.
How do I log in to IRIS RM?
You can use the platform to post Public Engagement and Continuing Education initiatives by logging in with your institutional credentials to the dedicated section on the IRIS platform https://u-pad.unimc.it/
