IRIS RM (Research Management) Third Mission

As part of the University’s strategies to strengthen the Third Mission and foster dialogue between the university and society, and in line with the guidelines of the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System (ANVUR), the University of Macerata has launched the IRIS RM Third Mission module, which has been integrated into the IRIS platform already in use for managing academic output.

What is IRIS RM?

IRIS (Institutional Research Information System) is a system developed by CINECA for the collection, management and dissemination of data relating to research activities carried out by universities and public and private research bodies.

The Third Mission RM (Resource Management) module, integrated within the University’s IRIS catalogue, enables the cataloguing and management of all initiatives relating to: Public Engagement, Continuing Education, Spin-offs and Intellectual Property.

The introduction of this tool addresses the need to systematise Third Mission activities, with particular attention to periodic monitoring and strategic planning processes. The completion and updating of the RM module requires the active participation of the University’s lecturers and researchers.

How do I log in to IRIS RM?

You can use the platform to enter Public Engagement and Continuing Education initiatives by logging in with your institutional credentials to the dedicated section on the IRIS platform at https://u-pad.unimc.it/
