Lifelong Learning
What is lifelong learning?
Lifelong learning consists of “any activity undertaken by individuals in a formal, non-formal or informal context, at various stages of life, with a view to improving their knowledge, skills and competences, from a personal, civic, social and occupational perspective” (Law No. 92 of 28 June 2012, Article 4, paragraph 51)
Lifelong learning is a concept that does not distinguish between educational cycles and all other learning opportunities in everyday life, at work, at home or in other learning settings.
This section, however, refers specifically only to learning opportunities offered locally that do not lead to a qualification, a degree or any other qualification defined by university credits (CFU).
