Additional entry requirements

In order to be declared eligible, all candidates must necessarily possess the access requirements stipulated in the call for applications issued by the CRUI Foundation.

In addition to the terms set out in the call for applications, only those candidates who will select one or more foreign locations, from those available, where it is necessary to carry out the in-person internship, should possess additional requirements necessary for the disbursement of expense reimbursement from the "Fund for the support of young people and encouragement of student mobility." In the absence of these additional requirements, the above-mentioned candidates may not be deemed eligible at the pre-selection stage.

These additional requirements are as follows:

  • be regularly enrolled in the a. a. related to the period in which the mobility is carried out;
  • be in a condition to obtain the recognition of at least one curricular CFU (internship, additional language proficiency or credits of the student's free choice) at the end of the mobility;
  • be enrolled no more than one year out of prescribed time.

Recognition of curricular credits

MAECI - MUR - CRUI Foundation program internships involve the recognition of at least 1 CFU for each month of actual activity.
Before applying, students who are to do the in-person internship at one or more foreign locations should check and make sure that they can apply for the recognition of at least 1 curricular CFU. Curricular credits for INTERNSHIP/ FURTHER LANGUAGE KNOWLEDGE/CREDITS FREE CHOICE OF THE STUDENT may be included in the university career.

The recognition of the activities carried out is made on the basis of the Didactic Provisions for Traineeships contained in the didactic regulations of the course of study in which the trainee is enrolled.

Upon completion of the mobility, the trainee proceeds to apply for credit recognition. Only after such recognition will the balance of the financial contribution be settled.

Economic contribution

As stipulated in the call for applications, the expense reimbursement, paid by the University, in the minimum amount of 300 euros per month,is due only to trainees who will carry out the internship in person at the Place of Assignment.

As provided for in the Youth Fund disbursement rules, the grant will be disbursed in two stages, at the beginning of the mobility an advance of 50% of the grant will be disbursed and at the end of the mobility the remaining 50%.

The expense reimbursement will be disbursed as per the chart below:
