Short description: The project offers a comprehensive package of teaching contents and additional activities on the theme of SUSTAINABILITY IN ECONOMY, according to a holistic approach (Business Law, Constitutional, Administrative, Food, Private Comparative Law, Economics, History, Philosophy). Interdisciplinarity will allow to consider jointly, in each activity, the environmental, social and governance aspects of sustainability. A multidisciplinary and international teaching staff will support the Chair holder. The objectives of the project is to promote awareness about EU Law and its impact on sustainability for students, public administrators, professionals and citizens. In addition, the project offers a training course for secondary school teachers having the aim to foster the development of EU citizenship in the secondary schools. Thanks to the project, learners’ career possibilities will be enhanced. Indeed, they will benefit from the interdisciplinary knowledge on EU studies on sustainability (particularly actual nowadays) and will get in contact with several stakeholders’ representatives participating at the project events. UNIMC will increase its attractiveness and recognisability at international level: indeed UniMC has never been awarded with a JM Chair. Beside citizens, the project will involve policy makers and business associations at local and regional level, who will gain more awareness on sustainability and the know-how needed to implement related policies/strategies. Dissemination will be carried out through press releases, social media, website, radio and specific events (EU Researchers’ Night, seminars, final conference). The project will enhance the visibility of scientific resources and academic activity thanks to available open educational materials and to the planned activities addressed not only to academia. It will increase also awareness on the added value of activities supported by Erasmus+ and will contribute to a positive public perception of EU.
