Join the ERUA Autumun Cleanup Day!
Would you like to do something concrete for the environment and for your city?
On Saturday, 26 September 2026, join the ERUA Clean Up Day in Macerata, an initiative bringing together students, university staff and citizens from the European universities of the ERUA alliance to take care of shared spaces and promote sustainability.
📍 Meeting point: 10:00 a.m. at Porta Romana — Cancelli, Piazza Annessione
👉 Please bring work gloves and a water bottle.
☔ In case of rain, the walk may be cancelled.

The event offers an opportunity for students, university staff and citizens to take part in a collective action for the local community, while reflecting on the importance of sustainability, environmental awareness and responsible behaviour in shared urban spaces.
Programme at a glance
- 10:00 a.m. — Meeting point at Porta Romana
- 10:00 a.m.–12:00 noon — Urban clean-up walk from Porta Romana to Parcheggi Garibaldi and Giardini Diaz
- 12:00 noon–1:00 p.m. — Environmental education session at Museo della Biodiversità e della storia naturale (MuBi)
The initiative is open to anyone interested in contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable city.
