Call for Applications: ERUA Summer School in Combinatorics and Computer Science

The European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) is inviting students, researchers, and staff from its member universities, including the University of Macerata, to apply for the ERUA Summer School in Combinatorics and Computer Science (SSCC).
Organised by the University of the Aegean and Paris 8 University, the Summer School will take place in Karlovasi, Samos Island (Greece), from 24 to 28 August 2026. The programme offers an interdisciplinary introduction to the mathematics of structure, randomness, and computation, exploring the connections between combinatorics and theoretical computer science.
Participants will attend courses on topics including:
- Introduction to Combinatorial and Geometric Group Theory
- Introduction to Probabilistic Combinatorics
- Combinatorial Game Theory
- Automata and Turing Machines.
The application deadline is 26 June 2026.
