Free self-defence and awareness course for the UniMC community
The MGA – Self-Defence and Awareness course, aimed at students and staff at the University of Macerata, returns to CUS Macerata on 1 September. The course promotes safety, responsibility and mutual respect.
Created in response to the educational and social urgency of preventing violence, particularly gender-based violence, the project offers a physical and emotional journey guided by experts.
Course objectives
- to acquire effective non-offensive self-defence techniques
- improve self-control in critical situations
- promote self-esteem, inner security and stress management
- Promote relationships based on respect and awareness.
- The course will be taught by Dr Laura Moretti (FIJLKAM Master and MGA Regional Manager) and Anderson Mendez (Ju Jitsu technician), who both have extensive experience.
🕒 Lessons: Eight sessions, every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
📍 Where: CUS Macerata, Via Cassiano da Fabriano 28
👥 Who: UniMC students and staff (maximum 15 places available).
💰 Cost: Free
