ERUA Seminar on Multilingualism and Language Policies
On 2–3 July 2026, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) will host the Seminar on Multilingualism and Language Policies, organised by ERUA’s ILaP-EMEIM Research Cluster within the framework of the Task Force on Multilingualism, jointly coordinated by ULPGC and Université Paris 8. The event will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both onsite and online participation.
The seminar will bring together researchers, academics and professionals to discuss multilingualism, language policies, and the role of languages in educational, social and intercultural contexts. Through presentations and debates, participants will explore current challenges and opportunities related to linguistic diversity in higher education and contemporary societies.
The initiative reflects ERUA’s ongoing commitment to promoting linguistic and cultural diversity as a cornerstone of a more inclusive European university and to fostering collaboration among researchers across the alliance.
Further information, including the full programme and registration details, is available on the ERUA website.
