Call for Proposals: ERUA Fieldwork Opportunity for Early-Career Researchers (Social Sciences)
The European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) is launching a new Fieldwork Opportunity for Early-Career Researchers in the Social Sciences, open to eligible researchers from the University of Macerata and the other ERUA partner universities.
The 2026 edition, entitled "Industrial Sites: Traces, Transmissions and Memory Regimes", will take place in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, from 2 to 7 August 2026. The programme offers a unique fieldwork-based research environment, bringing together early-career researchers and scholars from across the ERUA Alliance to explore industrial heritage through interdisciplinary approaches and international collaboration.
The initiative combines theoretical seminars, lectures by local experts, site visits, collaborative research activities, and participant presentations, fostering both academic exchange and the development of future research networks.
Applications are open until 30 June 2026.
