Management and International Marketing
The course includes modules to develop strategic, administrative-accounting, management, finance and marketing competencies along with suitable knowledge and skills in the field of economic analysis, data analysis, cybersecurity, sustainability, corporate and business crisis law, tax, industrial and contract law, with a focus on digital and international developments. The programme offers two learning pathways. The first pathway is designed for applicants looking forward to holding management roles in enterprises, starting a profession as chartered accountants or business consultants. Administrative-accounting and managerial skills (business strategies, basic international accounting, business finance, business mergers and consolidated financial statements, special transactions, etc.) are complemented by modules in the legal field (corporate law, business crisis law as well as business income and international tax planning) and knowledge of digital issues and sustainability. The second pathway ensues from the realization that competitive pressure and the spread of digital technologies have increased the importance of marketing within enterprises, both in the local and international context. This pathway is designed for applicants wishing to work as professionals or managers operating in the several macro-areas of marketing and export management, thus requiring multidisciplinary, digital and international competencies.
Learning pathway in ‘Management and Business Consulting’: business administrator; chief executive officer; head of finance; administration and finance manager; chartered accountant; business consultant.
Learning pathway in ‘Marketing and Global Markets’: export manager; head of market analysis and of direct investment opportunities abroad; research and development manager; innovation and production development manager; head of communications; trading area and logistics manager; purchasing officer; advisor on legal issues in international trade; business consultant.
To be admitted applicants are to meet course entry requirements and to have an adequate personal level of knowledge. Applicants holding a degree in class L-18 or L-33 (regulated by Ministerial Decree No. 270/2004) or L-17 or L-28 (regulated by Ministerial Decree No. 509/1999) or a four-year degree in Economics (issued before Ministerial Decree No. 509/1999) have open access to the course. Applicants holding a degree in other fields are to meet special course entry requirements.
