The course offers a wide choice of module options that may be tailored to fit student needs and professional training requirements, while enhancing the participants’ overall cultural level. Due to its very structure, students may obtain a Master’s degree in Ancient Philology, Literature and History (LM-15) o in Modern Philology (LM-14) according to the learning pathway of choice.

The Master’s course in Classical and Modern Philology allows students to find employment as secondary school teachers of subjects in the humanities. Access to teaching is regulated by Ministerial Decree No. 249/10. The course enables participants to aspire to positions of responsibility in public and private concerns such as fine arts service organizations, trusts, cultural institutions. The culture industry and publishing are also possible work sectors.

To be admitted applicants are to meet course entry requirements and to have an adequate personal level of knowledge.

Applicants holding a degree in class L-10-Literature and class 5-Literature have open access to the course. Applicants holding a degree in other fields, be they issued according to prior or existing regulations, need to meet specific course requirements.
