The Master's degree course in Finance and Markets aims to offer an in-depth and full training in finance in traditional areas, but also in topical sectors (impact finance, sustainable finance, behavioural finance) providing adaptability in a constantly changing environment.

There are two learning pathways. Both ensure specialist training in finance (banking and asset management) and in production (financial business management): the former pathway features digital technologies and their applications, while the latter focuses on international issues involving the activities of cross-border businesses, and includes taught Modules in English. The course is intended for students with degrees in class L-18 and L-33, but also in other fields, who meet entry requirements set in course regulations, wishing to improve their understanding of financial markets, brokerage and corporate finance dynamics, and at the same to develop the know-how needed to manage digital innovation potentials both within banking and financial services, and in the relationship between operators/businesses and financial markets.

Learning pathway in 'Finance and Technology': businesses, finance and financial management; financial intermediaries; financial consulting; financial analyst firms; regulatory and supervisory agencies in the financial system; social, economic and financial research organizations; private equity and venture capital companies.

Learning pathway ‘International Finance and Economics’: chief financial officer for firms operating in international settings; country manager for foreign subsidiary companies; financial intermediaries; consulting companies; financial system regulatory and control agencies; social, economic and financial research institutions.

To be admitted applicants are to meet course entry requirements and to have an adequate personal level of knowledge. Applicants holding a degree in class L-18 or L-33 (as laid down by Ministerial Decree No. 509/1999) or a degree obtained after a four-year degree course in class L-17 or L-28 in Economics (prior to Ministerial Decree No. 509/1999) have open access to the course. Applicants holding degrees in other fields need to meet specific course requirements.
