E-learning resources

Following the most recent Decree by the President of the Council of Ministers (DPCM) of March 4, 2020, all lessons and courses offered by UNIMC will resume through alternative means of electronic communication on Monday, March 9, 2020 following the procedures listed below.

Information for STUDENTS

All students studying at UNIMC can access the courses which have been activated online sorted by department, school or professor, using their DSA credentials. The listing of online course is constantly being update and is available at the following link:

Students will have to access the page of the individual teacher where they will find the link to access the teaching material and any further information.

If the course is not yet available, it is possible that the department, the school, or the teacher of reference might have chosen an alternative method or platforms; in this case, check the communications listed on the following channels:

  • Go to the teachers’ portal, select the teacher/course and click on NEWS
  • Go to the specific website (department, school, PhD or Postgraduate) click on TEACHING -> NOTICE BOARD

MICROSOFT TEAMS. Thanks to an agreement with Microsoft, Office 365 is available to all our students. This software, among other things, includes Microsoft Teams, a collaboration and sharing platform for distance learning. The platform allows you to follow interactive videoconference lessons.  >> TEAMS - Miniguide Students

Information for TEACHERS

All teachers are required to offer online teaching. All students (including those attending an online course) will be following lessons through online.unimc.it. Only the modules relative to this particular period should be shared on the platform.  

  • the dedicated platform is OpenOLAT online.unimc.it(support services for face-to-face activities). The teacher will be able to create a course, upload materials and activities; all teachers and students can access this platform through their DSA credentials. Each course will have a specific link that the teacher will have to share with students e.g. by posting the information on his/her own page. If the teacher has already set up online activities for distance learning education, he/she should use the OpenOLAT-didactica platform (didattica.unimc.it) ONLY FOR DISTANCE LEARNING.
  • Online tutor 
    Each department, in addition to the tutors already assigned for online activities who are available to support you in the distance learning courses, will arrange for further online assistance to face the increased demand in this period: contact them for any doubt on the use of the platforms as they are also e-learning experts.

Following the most recent Decree by the President of the Council of Ministers (DPCM) of March 4, 2020, all exams will be exclusively held via alternative means of electronic communication which allow video-call such as Skype or other means made available by the University.   For this purpose:

  • Exams will be carried out via alternative means of electronic communication such as Skype or other telecommunication applications;
  • Students will be required to enrol through the ESSE3 platform (http://studenti.unimc.it).
  • the student is required to read the instructions relating to the teaching and technical methods of the exam, visible on the page of the individual teacher in the notices board section. Information on the modality of the exam (written, viva) will be provided here. If the exam takes place via Skype connection, the student will have to send his / her nickname to the teacher via email.
  • the panel (or teacher) will have to verify the identity of the candidate by examining a valid identification document (university booklet, identity card etc.)
    the audio-visual communication between the candidate and the panel/teacher must be ensured for the entire duration of the exam.
