LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The course offers the opportunity to study in-depth three foreign languages, European and non-european ones, as means of interlinguistic and intercultural communication tools to be chosen among a total of  seven languages available: Arabic, Chinese, French, English, Russian, Spanish and German. The programme aims to promote the development of the technical skills needed to produce accurate transalations in specialised fields and to liaise in commercial settings. It also enables students to master languages for specific purposes and the analytical tools needed  to gain an awareness of communication processes, text production and reception.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
The course is designed for careers in: specialized translation and commercial negotiation liaison; positions of responsibility in enterprises, public and private agencies with regards to international relations as language and cultural liaison assistants, document management, community and business promotion. Upon completion of the undergraduate degree course students may wish to proceed at postgraduate level enrolling on the two-year Master's course in Modern Langauages for International Communication and Cooperation (Class Code LM-38).
