Italian languages courses

• The Language Centre (CLA) of the University of Macerata offers international students Italian language courses at different levels in the first and second semester.
• Classes are offered exclusively to: foreign students enrolled at the University of Macerata (including Postgraduate students); incoming students under EU programmes (Erasmus + etc.); incoming foreign students under ministerial programmes and international cooperation agreements (Marco Polo, etc.);
• Courses usually run from September to December and from January to May; they are graded in level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and have a final exam.

International Certification

The University Language Centre (CLA) caters for curricular as well as specialized language courses for students, lecturers, and the general public. It offers a wide range of international certificates in 5 languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, ) and a number of other language-related opportunities.

Chinese Certification, Language and Cultural Courses

The Confucius Institute

The Confucius Institute has been settled in Macerata last October, 2011 as a meeting space between Chinese and Italian cultures. It seeks to achieve this goal by offering Chinese language courses at several levels and through activities aimed at increasing the knowledge of Chinese civilization, culture, traditional and modern society.
