Research at Macerata

The University of Macerata promotes scholarly research as a factor of cultural growth and socio-economic innovation.

The University has been involved in many projects sponsored by the Italian government and is increasing its presence in projects funded by the European Union, which testifies to the diverse range of interests encompassed by the University.

UNIMC has co-ordinated more than 50 Italian research projects of national interest (PRIN) and has been a partner in several other projects covering all the areas of the humanities and social sciences, boosting its presence in international research networks, primarily in Europe, but also beyond.
