International Relations Office

The University of Macerata International Relations Office – IRO is the first port of call for all international students

IRO maintains the relationships with partner foreign universities and manages programmes for research and international cooperation to obtain credits and recognized qualifications. It is also in charge of managing European programmes such as Erasmus + and takes care of a number of non-European Exchange programmes outside of Europe, for instance with Albania, Australia, Belarus, Canada, Russia and the United States of America. IRO organizes also two Summer Programmes, with the University of Princeton (USA) and Murdoch University (Australia).

If you intend to study at our University, you should contact the office in charge for your enrolment, according to the purpose of your mobility:

The International Relations Office can also help you get integrated into Macerata’s university and social life, and can provide you with brochures, maps and various information literature. You will be in touch with MacErasmus, the ESN (Erasmus Student Network) local association that organizes all-year-round tours, parties, cultural events for international students.
