Masters and postgraduate programmes

The University of Macerata offers advanced training programmes to students who have completed their undergraduate studies. The Master's programmes which are completed at the end of an undergraduate programme aim to train highly professional figures.

First-level Master's programmes are open to:

  • graduates of three-year university programmes;
  • graduates of four- or five-year (one-block) university programmes which have been completed before the reform of the Italian university system;
  • postgraduate students defined according to Ministerial Decree 270/04;
  • students holding qualifications awarded abroad and recognised as eligible by the Board of Studies of the programme for which they wish to enrol.


Second-level Master's programmes
are open to:

  • second-level graduates;
  • graduates with pre-reform degrees awarded according to the Ministerial Decree 270/2004;
  • graduates of four-year degree programmes awarded according to pre-reform legislation;
  • students holding qualifications awarded abroad and recognised as eligible by the Board of Studies of the programme for which they wish to enrol.
