The Giacomo Leopardi School of Advanced Studies of the University of Macerata, founded in 2008, aims to:

  • optimize training and research results through attentive selection of students, involvement of illustrious Italian and foreign teachers and researchers and to offer high quality structures and services;
  • favour interdisciplinary activities, in order to gain a critical and conscious understanding of complex phenomena and to face up to the challenges of the future;
  • promote internationalization, as an added value, both through meetings and exchanges with foreign teachers and scholars and by sending students on study and research visits to the best international universities and research centres.
